Keep exploring my friend. Your posts and friendship has made me better. Good on you for realizing this pursuit is no longer serving you. Pivot and keep growing (and stay in touch!)
I am in the same boat. My stack isn’t currently serving my mental health and I have stepped back. You are so right, we are trained to think we have to keep going, we are just about to break through. It’s difficult to figure out at first if that’s true or not. Like you I put a couple years of effort in, and I think we can say we have a fairly good read on it in 24 months.
Thank you so much for this comment, and yes, mental health is so critical in these things! I agree, 24 months is a lot of data, and I think sometimes it’s okay to analyze and move in a new direction. I wish you all the success in the future in your next endeavour! I have loved reading your posts!
Wow, I'm super sad to hear you say this- because you just said exactly what i needed to hear today. But I also understand, because it is also exactly what i need to do...
Thank you for saying it, and good for you for doing it. Hope to learn from you again someday.
Hi Kate! Thank you so much for your kind words, it means more than you know to have a stranger rooting for me. I will be back for sure, and wishing you the best in your next adventure!
Thank you for naming the irony of burning out writing about burnout out loud. It is real. There’s a fine line between shining your light and becoming a slave to the algorithm. Enjoy the strategic rest and let that creativity grow. 🌼
Hi Emily! Thank you so much for your kind words. So true, navigating these fine lines is definitely an art, and it has certainly been an intuitive process. I will be back again! Hope you have the most wonderful day. 💜

Thank you Kyle! And I concur, your friendship has been such a boon. I will keep in touch!

You’ve got material, you’ve done the work. It could just be a matter of repurposing on something or somewhere else. Godspeed, Genevieve.
Thank you Adam! Yes I am thinking of incorporating what I’ve learned into perhaps a new lens or focus. Hope you are well!
