yes, a few months ago I realized I was doing exactly what you described. Glad to know I'm not the only one who was doing this. Really, I do feel that after everyone else goes to bed, 'that' is my time. Those are some good tips to quit night time revenge...

Well, written Genevieve, I just went over and looked in the mirror and darned if you didn’t describe me.. I’m guilty of most of the sins you describe, but the one that I struggle with the most is being able to say no to social obligations I have no desire to attend. I’d love to hear how to say, ā€œNo(thank you)ā€

I’ve heard the term ā€˜revenge bedtime procrastination’ before, but your explanation makes it hit home differently. It’s such a paradox: stealing time at night to feel free, only to lose even more freedom the next day because of exhaustion. Thank you for writing this, it's something I needed to read.
